Don't worry. I think I'll go with a hanging, or jumping (with the wind, of course) off a tall building on a windy day so as to ensure that I don't get blown back to safety.
I stopped considering jumping into the way of a TTC subway a viable way to go when I saw the "success" rates. Many people who attempt this method survive. :S I already know that overdosing on tylenol would only lead to a slow but certain and painful death, so that's out. Ideally, I'd shoot myself, but I have no idea how to get a gun. My final thought was CO poisoning. I have a car. I have a garage. The only thing that bugs me about it is that .. I'd have to do it at home. I'd rather inconvenience public authorities.

Well, life can be defined as "effort" / energy-flux. You're perfectly free to stop this -- no doubt there are many positive reasons for this. (Besides ending your own suffering (and also pleasure!), you can also donate organs to others who want to live, you can kill people who deserve to die more easily (no need for an escape plan), et cetera.)
I know a friend who tried arsenic. I can ask her where she got it. Her attempt failed. I think she's still trying :P.
