My comments do apply to people I know, not my family luckily enough, but I can say that I have some friends who I wish were more informed or more involved. Plus the nation of people voted for Harper lets not forget. I have heard comments such as "I guess since the conservatives are in power then that makes me a conservative," Perhaps I should only hang out with socialists

As for responsibility, we all know right from wrong, no one is inherently evil (except Hitler of course, he should be mentioned by now I thought ;)) but people do rationalize bad behavior to suit their needs over others.

The state is much more than just borders but I won't say that public healthcare is a monstrosity, nor is public education. Until everyone has equal choices, until I can choose and be able to go to either public school number 1 or private school number 6, not have to go to public school because money is the way or go to private school because of status   I do not think that privatization is a good idea. Again I diverge. oops.

So you're saying your parents do not "regurgitate other people's ideas", and so are responsible for their decisions and actions. So, do they support "artificial borders"?

And, as you mentioned, the State is much more than just borders. It is also the violent monopoly on healthcare and education and military et cetera. So, here is a perfect example of how my own dear friends, support my oppression -- you support shooting me, if I don't support your schools and hospitals.

Hence: the State really is our friends and family. (My family supports borders, and shooting me as well. C'est triste.)

No no I don't support shooting you because, here we are again, I just don't see the gun and you make good food. I see a place where people equally give to a 'state' and the 'state' redistributes that money to benefit all. This is clearly not the case but I like it.

I am pretty sure that my familia is on the same page as I am, since I guess I am just regurgitating the ideas that I grew up with,   do they support 'artificial borders' I don't know but you can be sure I am asking them tomorrow!

Yes, yes you do, in fact support shooting me. Because I do not want to "give equally to a 'state' for later redistribution". So, either you abolish this state that you have in mind ('cuz I'm not participating in it voluntarily), or shoot me. Which is it?

(Good luck with asking them tomorrow! Be sure to let me know how it goes :D)

If you can tell me a way where everyone is treated well and equally and has access to all of the same stuff that you or I have access to and not just assume that at least some of the population would give and ignore the fact that time and time again people do bad things to each other, most of those people being in the current state and divisions of said state then I will abolish any idea of statehood. I do believe in the idea that we could all live peacefully and well if we all thought of each other as equals and not have any 'state' in progress, but alas, this is not the current situation and I feel like it is better to begin by fixing things that could work then just breaking everything down and starting over.

Parental units will be asked shortly!

p.s. please write more questions as I will most likely have some downtime on my voyage and this is quite fun!
