Yeah -- that's basically what I did too. I just started writing. I don't think it's entirely unhealthy to see all of life as temporary occupation of sorts.

This feeling of "pain", really, is at the heart of this discussion. Ideas on their own are inert. They should neither inspire pain nor joy. We add such icing ourselves, subjectively, afterwards. (Or our bio-chemistry is somehow warped.)
Some people may find solace in illusion / static-universes. Others anxiety.
