There are no limitations for the number of trees. I could have been a park.

Keep in mind that although /we/ don't know the number of trees, Adam and Bob /do/ know.

Sigh. I should have suspected as much. Actually I did suspect the solution earlier, but was too lazy to actually compute the sums :) ...
