So let me get this straight: Guy #1 acts like a complete dick and gets a couple dates out of it, Guy #2 exhibits some creativity and gets shot down because of it? Figures. Damn wimmin. The moral of this story seems to be "always make sure girls are as drunk as possible."
Actually, most of the times I go out it's with intersexed (w00t, second word I've invented in two days) groups which basically means that a) people don't try and pick up the people I'm there with, since they're already hanging out with a group of guys and b) Girl talk sort of stories like "this guy was trying to pick me up by .." don't come up very often.
