There is some nuance here though. At least couch potatoes don't bomb other countries, don't assassinate people, don't have terrorists flying planes into their skyscrapers. Although this is slowly changing, the soulless mindless Karens are starting to become uppity and weaponized - eg. supporting war against Russia, and fighting arabs a few years ago in Libya iirc, which did trigger some blowback terrorism here.

Yea Canada is a toxic statist sludge, and without the slightly time-tested ballast of centuries of culture, it's a wholly artificial metastasizing bureaucratic dystopia.
