Taking a step back from these abstract theories, and reading generously between the lines, why do you think your brain functioning is abnormal?
One glaring point from this snippet is the downplaying of the VERY REAL and constant threat of danger and evil in our society here on this island, and probably in most places. Most people are statists and (ignorantly) do want us harmed. Being anxious and vigilant and afraid in such a cesspool makes perfect sense. The denial of this reality and the subsequent victim blaming infuriates me. Or, maybe I'm hyper-angry and broken.
