Stick to one circle, and make it perfectly crystal clear that she's a moron -- ie. either jesus-god exists, or evolution exists -- they cannot both exist. If you keep hopping to other absurdities, her small brain will lose track of her other mistakes.

So, for example, ask her where she thinks the evolution of our particular tree branch will lead -- perhaps we'll develop wings? Or perhaps our large brains will eventually be our demise. Then ask her what will happen to the universe when homo-sapiens no longer exist? Is "god's image" a small-brained winged species that branched from homo-sapien? Will the universe not exist when homo-sapiens become extinct? (Make *sure* she acknowledges that homo sapiens will go extinct, like every other species. And also that our sun will blow Earth up in a few billion years.)

I will if I get there.

She seems to be stuck on the simplest of things: the definition of rationalism.

It's rather entertaining watching this one go over her head.

Don't let it go over her head -- don't give her any opportunity to evade her irrationality. Reason/Rationality is nothing special, it's just logic -- I'm sure she can understand that. Jump into real tangible examples of her absurdity -- remind her of the tree of life -- both the DNA tree, and the fossil tree, etc. With a sprinkling of astro-physics -- real things that fly in the face of her fairy tales.

Can you help?   Walk her first through the definition of "rationalism" and what I mean when I say it is my response.

Read on.   It should be finished now.
