http://www.jamendo.com ... It's a very good music site, currently with a nice community of half a million smart fans covering the entire globe. You can stream any song via mp3 or ogg or flash. You can download any album directly in mp3 or ogg, or via torrent--though I think they currently have a bug in their seeder. You can have friends, see their musical tastes, rank songs, donate to artists, etc.
Basically, it's a site that actually acknowledges the nature of digital/intellectual "property", instead of fighting against it. And the result is a smooth and fun community. I estimate in about a decade or so, we (not me ;) will look back at these past absurd years of IP enforcement, and be really embarassed.

You know, my computer crashed recently ... and to try something different, I installed ubuntu and it has all this nice software including the music player with jamendo right on it. =) hehe, I'm a newbie, ignore me.
