That doesn't make any sense. The people of Mega-Canada who would otherwise be Canadians would have more freedom than the Canadians in our timeline.
Anyway, how interested would you be in having a recorded voice debate over Skype? It might be easier than just going back and forth here and there as a textual debate.
If we do it, I'd also like to cover some of the points that you and BG made in the second debate that didn't get recorded, because I really wish that I could've listened to that one. And since you have a strong tendency to interrupt other people, I'd also like to require that we both give each 1-2 minutes to speak before letting the other side respond.

1) It's not at all obvious that people who would have been less likely to resist tyranny and dictatorship, would result in a more free society today 2) Even if that was the case, if somehow the general spirit of freedom elevated the rest of the lame bitch-Canadian society, it would have diminished the levels in the US - there wouldn't be a Free State Project in New Hampshire, or Texit, or Florida's burgeoning secession movement, etc. > how interested would you be in having a recorded voice debate over Skype?
