Took graduate physics classes at UC Santa Barbara. Retired from Intel at age 34. Was the founding member of and most voluminous contributor to the cypherpunks mailing list in the 1990's. Died December 13 2018 at home. In 2017 he spoke of a fork in the road: the world was moving toward either Leviathan or an anarchic-type system. There would be no in-between.

There are approximately 3 anarchists in the world and 0 of them are taken seriously by anyone. Anarchism isn't even an option on the kid's menu of socio-economic systems. So I guess .. Leviathan is a go?
