Meh. I've stopped looking at mtgox. I'll check back in a few years, when there is a thriving market. (Aka. the "long-term perspective" mentioned in the article -- nothing has changed the fact that Bitcoins are the best currency ever :-).

A reader's comment about the floor value being the electricity costs to generate bitcoins, and that being around $1 now, is intriguing :).
