I change my mind.   Legally, these employees should be paid.   The money can go both ways, in legal terms (so whichever side gets the money, really depends on the lawyers).   Since the Bank is filthy rich, just give the money to the employees.

Sorry Dennis.   Balance is what brought me to this conclusion.   Yet, I'm not on Blagojevich's money laundering side.

Nay--the law is actually on the Bank's side. The problem, however, is corrupt state bureaucrats, who are threatening to stop doing business with the bank. (Though loosing them as customers really should not be viewed as a bad thing.)

How do you figure the money can go both ways "in legal terms"? It's the Bank's money--even the stolen money that was given to them by government goons (there was no explicit legal obligation for it's oversight).
