your fear of "stagnation" due to unpassable legislation is unfounded, i say. not only is it unfounded, but it contradicts your first fear ... of 49% of people getting shafted -- except, in consensus, it may well be less than 1% of the people. nobody should get shafted! you're flip-flopping here. make up your mind! =) ... do you think it's ok to fuck over 1% of the people? ... given that 50% of the vote is most likely uninformed ... and that the 1% probably actually knows what they're talking about?

I've read this statement at least five times. I've read it forwards, backwards, jumping from one part to another, and I still have no idea what you're trying to say. Where did 1% come from? Consensus is 100%. How does that contradict with a 51-49 split of votes? What does a mostly uninformed populace have to do with this?

there is an invisible force -- namely, the community spirit ... if one wanted to place the two systems in parallel, this voluntary spirit would be the parallel force to capitalism's money.

So you're assuming that in your system people will magically find some noble inclination (referencing your original quote) to do work that they normally wouldn't want to do, so that they are not forced by the community. Sure. I guess one way to solve a problem is to imagine a magical force doing the dirty work. But what if this community spirit force doesn't work? You've called it /community spirit/ in one sentence and /voluntary spirit/ in the next sentence. If it's community spirit then it's not voluntary. And if it's not voluntary then it's not all that different from the concept of a monetary force.
