Ah yes, I knew I was missing something. I would partially agree with you in your point that the only acceptable situation in abortion is health risk. What I don't entirely agree with is "Health risk to the mother" part.
In the event that the mother has AIDS, does she not have the right to have an abortion to spare her child from being infected with the same disease? The mother either already has AIDS already, or she contracted it from the father of the baby. Either way, the mother will have AIDS and she will pass it on to her child. Giving birth to the baby is not a health risk to herself, but to her baby instead.
/Can I stafely assume that in Case Scenrio 1, you would favour legislation banning abortion?/
I didn't say I was for it or against it. All I'm saying is having an abortion depends on the situation you're in.
