Summer in Vancouver!

For lack of a better section, I put this under 'Pretentious, Selfrighteous Essays' since it's about me and there is no 'General' category.Yup, I'm in Vancouver for the summer! I'm being juggled back and forth in working at UBC and at the Infectious Diseases Clinic downtown. I'm helping two professors reorganize one of their medical school courses while at the clinic, I'm helping out with some of the studies they're doing there. I have no clue what studies they're doing as I have yet to be orientated with it.

Vancouver's a pretty nice city. It's good weather (minus the occasional rain shower). The UBC campus is HUGE I must say (at least 5 times larger than Waterloo's campus) and it has 3 beaches! Maybe I'll go sometime during the hotter months of summer. From what I've heard, one of the beaches is 'clothing optional'. I'll stay away from that one. :P

I'm staying with my aunt and uncle while I'm here. Their 5 month old daughter is adorable. She looks just like the Gerber Baby (from the company that makes baby food). Always happy and ever smiling, she only recently discovered the facial expression for angry. It's kind of funny to be playing with her and all of a sudden she scrunches up her eyebrows and stares at you.

Anyways, enough for now. Hope your summer's are going well!

No general category? What do you think "Pointless Bleating" is?

And why would you want to avoid the clothing optional beach? It's not like it's a clothing forbidden beach. There's no self-consciousness thang to worry about.

Play safe. Don't get infected.
