I just checked and it is about an hour and a half away from us (going east). What do you think? It is a little farther than Wasaga. Crystal Beach is also about an hour and a half away (Fort Erie). Sauble beach is about 3 hours away. So is it going to be Saturday or Sunday? On Sunday, I will be trying out one of those Bruce Trail Hikes.

Out of curiosity, why cobourg?

[UPDATE: Thursday July 24th] Maybe not this weekend -- the whether looks to be rainy and chilly.

[UPDATE: Friday July 25th night] The weather* looks good. It turn out that Misses Vina was right. Again.

The temperatures are also expected to be a little cool.

Has anyone actually swam in Cobourg though? I like the idea of a small-town beach, but it's /still/ Lake Ontario.
