I downloaded an arcade emu and donkey kong. Highest score i've been able to reach in the little time I'm playing is 31400. So still slight over a mill to go.

I'd be interested to see if theres an arcade place in toronto that actually has an old unit.

At age of 7-8 I was better at mario 1 than I am now as an adult and that's even if I played a week straight.

Remeber going to a friends place as a kid around that age and the youth there were having a problem with a level I did it running through without a problem. They were quite amazed by it at the time but it was nothing to me just another level.

PS: You can find a open source emulator and try it yourself. I'd be interested to see what people get within the first hour.

It is irrelevant that the emulator is open source, if the rom (the actual game) is closed.
